Directions to The Hayloft at Sleapford Farm

Using the postcode TF6 6HQ, SatNav will bring you along the A442 to Sleapford and a No Through Road off the A442 - a very narrow lane between 2 cottages.

  • Take the No Through Road with speed bumps
  • Sleapford Farm is the 3rd house on the RHS side and after the 2nd speed bump (approximately a quarter of a mile down this very narrow little lane). It is a cream cottage set back behind a paddock with high hedge and then a double post and rail fence. The entrance to the drive has double wooden gates and block paving that goes to beige gravel with grass down the middle and is approximately 80 yards long. The name Sleapford Farm is on the gatepost.
  • Keep to the left of the stables (going over more block paving) and you will arrive at The Hayloft.
  • On the day of your arrival, keys can be collected from Sleapford Farm (adjacent to The Hayloft) from 4pm.

What Our Guests Say

"We've had a wonderful Christmas in the very comfortable & well appointed cottage.

The decorations were beautiful.

We had an excellent meal at the Ugly Duckling pub."

Christmas 2019

"Lots to do in the area, we had never visited the Iron Gorge Museums and used two of our days exploring the various attractions at these interesting museums. Lovely unspoilt villages and countryside with good pubs for meals.

David and Carole, the owners of The Hayloft, have created a beautiful house, the best Viv and I have rented. The property is in a splendid location and the nearby Ugly Duckling pub provides great food in a posh bistro setting."

July 2019

"Immaculate, comfortable very well equipped cottage. Comfortable beds, great shower and super thick towels. Totally equipped kitchen, smart TVs in every room. My daughter said it was like a posh hotel (although self catering obviously).
South facing decking with chairs and table. Very quiet immediate area and pub in walking distance which served a great Sunday lunch (need to book) and were great with allergies if you need that.
The owners were very helpful if needed and full of local information but equally left us to our own devices.
Lots of places to visit within a 30 min drive.
Would thoroughly recommend."
